Colorado’s Senator Salazar continually strives to create incentives for American consumers to invest in alternative, renewable energy sources and energy conservation.   Senator Salazar believes Americans deserve tax relief and incentives for families including provisions to encourage the use of solar panels, geothermal heat pumps, and small wind systems.  Last year our Senator wholeheartedly promoted the Change a Light, Change the World campaign, asking Americans throughout the Nation to change at least a single inefficient light in their home or business for one that has earned the Government’s ENERGY STAR certification. Senator Salazar believes it is often the small changes we make in our daily lives that make the biggest difference to our futures.
